CLASSES
Last Round offers a number of different classes to meet your health and fitness needs. Here is a quick description of what you can expect from each service.

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
Our Strength and Conditioning Classes are by far our most popular and are our specialty. These classes are the most comprehensive group training program that we offer, in that they address more aspects of physical fitness than any other class. We highly recommend that if you are new to the gym this is your first point of call as it will set you up for many of the other activities in the gym. Strength and conditioning is focused on education and coaching with only two new spots on any class to ensure new members receive the best of attention.
A typical strength and conditioning class involves everything from explosive sprint work, through resistance training, to conditioning. The class instructors pay attention to coaching the details and are very experienced at scaling exercises for those who are carrying injuries. This ensures you can safely progress results in the desired area, regardless of your current condition. These classes provide you with the best opportunity to learn or enhance your lifting technique as well as improving the targeted fitness quality.

BOXING
Last Round Boxing is aimed as primarily a fitness orientated class, however like all classes there is a focus on correct technique. You will be instructed in the basics of stance, footwork, punching, slipping etc. The class uses both heavy bags and focus pads, working both alone and with a partner. This one is a great option for those who want to hit something after work.

BODY SCULPT
Is a class designed specifically for women, with a major emphasis on developing the muscles that are seen to enhance the shape of the female physique. Concentrating on glutes, legs and shoulders, this class is great for putting on those finishing touches.


COACHES CORNER
Coaches corner is a free service that is provided to give you the opportunity to sit down free with a coach and discuss any area of fitness. This is only open to current members and not available to casual visitors. Each appointment is fifteen minutes in duration and the coach will contact you before the day, to ensure they have adequate information about he area you wish to discuss. This allows a greater time for providing you with a well-researched answer to your question.

Young Lifters Program

This program is designed to educate young adults in the correct techniques involved in the safe execution of foundational exercises in the gym. We also look to improve movement quality and general athleticism. These programs do not operate year round so please get in touch and keep an eye on social media for upcoming dates. Ages 13 to 17.

PRIVATE GROUP TRAINING
Last Round delivers specialty group training for private sporting teams or other groups. Currently Last Round provides training services for local rugby League Teams and for International Gymnasts. We have experience in providing training for personnel entering the emergency services or special operations selection programs. At various times specialised training for Rugby League Strength and Conditioning, or school Strength and Conditioning programs can be conducted on request.
